Job Description:

The Role: The Cooler Cold Room Worker is responsible for handling and organizing products within a refrigerated environment. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and order of the cold room, ensuring products are stored correctly, and assisting with inventory management.Areas of Responsibility:

• Product Handling: Receive, store, and organize products in the cold room, ensuring they are properly labeled and stored at the correct temperature.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading products from delivery trucks, ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the cold room, including regular cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces and equipment.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Temperature Monitoring: Regularly check and record the temperature of the cold room to ensure it remains within the required range.
• Reporting: Report any issues or malfunctions with the cold room equipment to the supervisor immediately.
• Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, such as assisting with other areas of the facility when needed.Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a cold storage environment is preferred.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods and lift heavy items.
  • Skills: Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety guidelines.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in cold environments and has a strong attention to detail.
