• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, Chemo/Immunotherapy cert- HIGHLY Preferred
• PCU experience is a bonus
• Oncology experience is Required
• Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin, Lasix-set rate
• RT Equipment: Bipap, stable trach

    • Radii Rule: 100 miles
    • EPIC experience required
    • Resume must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level
    • Start Date must match next available start date
    • Time off must be 5 days or less and included in resume
    • Certifications must be accurate and up to date
    • License must be active and in hand - AZ or Compact
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling: 6:45 - 7:15am/pm
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other
      • Holiday Requirement: Typically 2/3 holidays
      • Call or Standby requirement: Low Census On Call
        • Unit Specific Information
        • # of Beds: 36
        • Common diagnoses: Oncology-all, abd pain, COPD, overdose, ETOH, weakness, psych, some surgical
        • Experience: Preferred-oncology, hospice, palliative
        • RNs only titrate Heparin gtt
          • Additional Details
          • Resume- Ensure resume information is accurate
          • Nurse patient ratios: Days 1:5-6, Nights 1:6
          • Are RNs required to titrate drips; Only titrating gtt is Heparin
          • Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift: Charge can take assignment if needed
          • Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit?: PCA 8-12 per person
          • Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit?: Yes, travelers will need to monitor Tele
          • Floating Requirements: MedSurg, stable low acuity in ICU
          • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
          • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: One NEO, one clinical ed/EPIC, one day floor
